This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing school from the ground up, shaping the environment and curriculum for young people (ages 11-16) who require a more supportive, therapeutic approach to learning.

The Role

  • Personalise Learning: Develop and deliver differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual EHC plans, ensuring every student makes progress at their own pace.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily classroom life.
  • Empower Students: Use non-confrontational, trauma-informed strategies to help students manage their emotions and develop social communication skills.

What We Are Looking For

  • SEND Experience: Proven experience working with students with ASC/SEMH is vital.
  • Resilience & Empathy: A genuine 'nurture' mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
