Re-imagine Education. Re-engage Learners.

Are you tired of rigid curriculums and "one-size-fits-all" classrooms? Do you believe that education should adapt to the child, not the other way around? We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and committed SEN Teacher specialising in Maths & Science to join our dedicated team in Hinckley. Here, we place relationships at the absolute heart of everything we do. This is your opportunity to step away from mainstream pressures and deliver a truly personalised, holistic learning experience that transforms young lives.

How You'll Make a Difference

In this role, you won't just teach—you will advocate, inspire, and champion young people (aged 7 to 19) who need a teacher who truly sees them. Working in small groups or on a tailored 1:1 basis, you will:

  • Design & deliver innovative, multi-sensory lesson plans and schemes of work in Maths and Science for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers to tailor the curriculum to each individual child's unique needs, interests, and EHCP goals.
  • Support learning managers with assessments, progress tracking, and report writing to showcase academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Involve young people directly in decisions about their own learning journeys, building their confidence and independence.

What We Are Looking For

We want to hear from reflective, forward-thinking educators who thrive in flexible environments. To be successful, you should bring:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential.
  • A Relevant Level 6 Qualification – Essential.
  • Subject passion: Experience teaching Maths or Science, or a strong desire and willingness to undertake supported professional development in these subject areas upon appointment.
  • SEN experience: Prior experience in an SEN environment is highly preferred, but a genuine passion for learner‑centred practice and a relational approach is vital.
  • Superb communication: The ability to build deep, trusting relationships with neurodivergent learners, their families, and your colleagues.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

By joining our supportive team, you will work in an environment that genuinely values your creativity and well-being. We offer a competitive salary scale, standard term-time working hours to protect your work‑life balance, and a deep commitment to your ongoing professional development.
