Are you a dedicated professional ready to make a significant impact? We are urgently seeking a passionate Learning and Pastoral Support Teaching Assistant to join our specialised educational team. In this pivotal role, you will nurture students with SEMH, Autism, and ADHD, fostering independence within a structured, compassionate, and expert-led environment. Working Hours: 8:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday
We operate a strict no-sponsorship policy; all applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert learning and pastoral support in small, focused class settings.
- Implement tailored curriculum interventions and Trauma-Informed Practice.
- Collaborate on EHCP/IEP processes and maintain rigorous progress documentation.
- Promote student welfare, safeguarding, and restorative behaviour frameworks.
You Will Need:
- GCSE Math and English (Grade C/5 or Level 2 equivalent).
- Proven experience in SEND/SEMH support.
- 3-6 months of experience in an educational environment aiding students who display challenging behaviours.
- Committed and dedicated individual with a can-do attitude.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check.
Ideally You Will Have:
- Experience of working in a psychological based environment, counselling setting or have a background in foster care.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Access to your own vehicle or public transport.
