The Opportunity: In this role, you will provide essential first-level technical support, managing incidents and service requests across a fast-paced environment. You will bridge end-users and higher-level technical teams, taking ownership of ticketing workflows via Jira Service Desk while maintaining the overall health and stability of core Windows Server environments.
Your Impact
- Incident & Request Management: Utilize Jira Service Desk to log, track, and resolve L1 support requests efficiently across phone, email, and ticketing channels.
- Systems Maintenance: Monitor and maintain system health across Windows Server environments, diagnosing basic hardware, software, and network issues.
- Escalation & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members and elevate complex, higher-level technical challenges to specialist support teams when necessary.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain precise records of incidents and resolutions, contributing directly to the team's service desk knowledge base and operational procedures.
Your Experience
- Ticketing & Service Desk Operations: Hands-on experience working in a Service Desk environment using Jira Service Desk (or Jira Service Management) to manage end-user requests.
- Windows Server Basics: Practical experience monitoring Windows Server environments and troubleshooting foundational hardware, software, and network issues.
- Communication & Support: Strong communication skills with a user-first mindset, able to explain technical solutions clearly and follow structured workflows.
- Continuous Learning (Desirable): A proactive approach to expanding your IT infrastructure knowledge and improving service delivery best practices.
