Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking HVAC Service Manager to join the team in Glasgow.

Role Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of HVAC service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and quality control.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of service calls, preventive maintenance, and installations.
  • Monitor service performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem resolution, and proactive service.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical skills and safety practices of the service team.
  • Manage inventory of parts and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present reports on service department performance to senior management.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with sales and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of various HVAC systems, including commercial and residential applications.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using service management software and dispatching systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver\’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., NATE, EPA Universal) are highly preferred.
  • Asociate\’s or Bachelor\’s degree in a related field is a plus.
