Location: Angus (Arbroath, Montrose, Brechin, Letham, Forfar, Edzell & surrounding areas)

Hours: 40 hours per week (Flexible shift patterns)

Start Date: Urgent requirement (Ideally within 2 weeks)

A growing care provider is seeking dedicated Home Care Workers to deliver person‑centred care to individuals in their own homes across Angus. This is a temporary role with strong potential to transition to a permanent contract.

The Schedule

Shifts typically run 6–8 hours covering morning, lunch, tea, and bedtime visits. Flexible patterns include:

  • Early Shift: 06:00 – 15:15 (some 07:30 starts)
  • Late Shift: 15:15 – 22:45
  • Double shifts are also available.

Key Responsibilities

You will support a wide range of needs to promote independence and dignity, including:

  • Providing personal care, mobility support, and safe transfers.
  • Assisting with meals, hydration, and medication support.
  • Delivering companionship, sitting services, and light housekeeping.

Requirements

  • Transport: A full UK driving licence is essential; access to your own vehicle is highly preferred as you will travel between homes.
  • Experience: Previous care experience (especially care‑at‑home) is desirable.
