About the Role:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with EHCPs.
- Collaborate with class teachers and SENCOs to implement personalized learning strategies.
- Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
- Promote student independence, confidence, and engagement.
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs, where appropriate.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN, especially in secondary schools.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.
