We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our professional team in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group lessons, adapting your approach to meet individual student requirements.
  • Promote independence and dignity while assisting with daily routines and personal care.
  • Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and support staff.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and maintain clear communication with parents regarding student development.
  • Organise educational trips, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to lead teachers.

Qualifications

  • Literacy and numeracy Level 2 (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a classroom with young people with complex disabilities, challenging behavior, or support worker roles.
  • Sensitivity to student needs, flexibility in the face of challenges, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity.
  • Must possess the permanent right to work in the UK; the successful candidate will undergo a full enhanced DBS check.

Candidates reliant on restricted VISAs or sponsorship will not be considered.

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service update or willingness to undergo these checks.
