Deputy Children's Residential Care Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our residential service in Dunscore as a Deputy Care Manager.

This is a priority vacancy for an immediate start; we are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and help shape bright, sustainable futures for the young people in our care.

Your Impact

In partnership with the Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our residential facility, which supports up to six young people. Your primary focus will be to:

  • Foster a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where every young person feels valued.
  • Build trusting relationships through daily interactions, emotional support, and active listening.
  • Coordinate planning, attend family and social work meetings, and assist with essential documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of care by utilizing our digital recording systems for daily monitoring and progress tracking.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within the Social Care sector.
  • Hold an HNC or SVQ4 qualification in Health and Social Care, Childcare, and Education.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
  • Confidence in utilizing digital systems for daily record-keeping.
