Social Worker – Intake & Assessment Team | Cardiff Council
Salary: Β£39,513 – Β£43,693

Cardiff Council\’s Intake & Assessment Team is seeking a Social Worker to undertake initial assessments and referrals for children and families in need. This role is critical in safeguarding children and providing timely support interventions.

About the Role:

  • Conduct initial assessments and investigations for child protection concerns

  • Manage referrals and develop appropriate care plans

  • Liaise with partner agencies to coordinate support

  • Maintain accurate case documentation

  • Participate in supervision and professional development sessions

What We\’re Looking For:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent relevant qualification

  • 2+ years post-qualifying experience working with children and families

  • Registration with Social Care Wales

  • Up-to-date Enhanced DBS
