  • Umbrella: £23.00 per hour
  • PAYE (Rolled‑Up): £17.91 per hour
  • Guaranteed Hours: 45+ hours per week (excellent earning potential!).
  • Adventure & Experience: Live and work in incredibly scenic, close‑knit island communities.
  • Travel‑Ready: Open to candidates willing to relocate/travel from anywhere in the UK.
  • Shift Patterns & Hours
  • Hours: 45+ hours per week.
  • Flexibility Required: Ability to work 5‑6 days per week.
  • Shifts: Typically between 07:00 - 22:00 (including potential for split shifts, long days, and night shifts).

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Care & Support: Provide high‑quality, person‑centered care to older adults within a care home setting, strictly following personalized care plans.
  • Daily Living Assistance: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and closely monitor resident well‑being.
  • Safety & Teamwork: Maintain a safe, supportive living environment, managing moving and handling tasks safely, and undertaking lone working duties where required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting older adults in a care setting (previous care home experience is highly preferred).
  • Core Skills: Proficient in personal care, safe moving and handling, and medication administration.
  • Location Flexibility: Previous experience with island or remote placements is a major plus, but not essential.
  • Driving License: A driving license is preferred due to travel distances, but not mandatory.
