Location: Burnside Court, Alyth (Must be within a 45-minute commute)

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 21:45 - 07:30 (Waking Night Shifts)

Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract: Temporary (Immediate start - July 31st, with strong extension and Temp-to-Perm potential)

Are you an experienced support professional seeking consistent, weekday night shifts? A small, specialized supported living service in Alyth is looking for a reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join their team. The service cares for five individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities.

The Role

Nights are generally quiet as the residents tend to sleep well. Your primary focus will be maintaining a safe, secure environment and ensuring the continuous wellbeing of all service users overnight.

Key Duties

  • Providing dedicated overnight support and responding swiftly to any resident needs or incidents.
  • Completing essential cleaning and general housekeeping duties while the service is quiet.
  • Working independently while remaining alert throughout the shift.
  • Collaborating with an on-site sleepover staff member who is available for additional backup if required.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous care or support work experience is essential. Prior experience working with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Commitment: Reliable, alert, and able to commit consistently to the Monday-Thursday schedule. A shadow shift or service visit can be easily arranged prior to your official start.
