We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our partnered school in Horley, supporting children with ADHD, autism, and behavioural needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on young learners' lives. Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Crawley

Type: Full-time, term time only

Start Date: September 2024

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to SEN learners, particularly those with ADHD, autism, and behavioural needs.
  • Assist in creating and delivering a creative, relevant, and practical curriculum.
  • Collaborate with teachers to support learning objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Relevant teaching assistant and SEN experience (must provide references)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (willingness to get one)
  • A nurturing, patient, and committed approach to making learning accessible
