Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting a Tendering Manager working on behalf of a leading Energy services company. The Tendering Manager will report to the Sales & Execution Region Head and will be responsible for all nominated tendering activities within the PM010 (Go/ No Go) through to PM080 (Project Handover).
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with colleagues within the Sales and Commercialisation teams to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals to assist in meeting the company's Order Entry and Key Performance targets.
- External Contacts: End customers, sub-suppliers, third party companies working on behalf of the customer, and internal customers including Regional Siemens Energy Entities, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Logistics, Contract Management, Compliance, Field Service, Customer Support Managers, Business Administration, Manufacturing & Production.
- Support in maintaining a process that allows for the submission of over 500 firm or budgetary proposals to customers within a 12-month period, compiled and submitted within Siemens Energy guidelines.
- In conjunction with the team Sales Managers & Commercialisation Manager, develop and implement a Go to Market selling and pricing strategy for the Service Line.
- Provide Technical Proposal support for both Internal and External Customers when required.
- Support in the maintenance of the Mod's & Up's product work list and accurate reporting of business/product KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with the latest commercial, technical, and health & safety legislation.
- Provide support in the continual improvement assessment for all departments' E2E processes.
- Support in the development and implementation of the Service Lines marketing strategy.
- Provide and publish statistical analysis information for the tendering process.
- Support in the operation of the Mod's and Up's Bid/No Bid process in line with procedures.
- Support with the maintenance and accuracy of the Mod's & Up's Pricebook.
- Work in a trustworthy, ethical, and compliant manner at all times.
Preferred Skills for the role:
- Good technical understanding of Gas Turbines.
- Good commercial, contractual, and financial knowledge.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- Previous Bid Management experience.
- Strong Project Management knowledge/skills.
