Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for Chocolate Tasters on behalf of a global company in the Manufacturing Industry. This position is a part time role with shifts between Tuesday - Thursday 09.45am - 12.45pm.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be joining the Team of Chocolate Tasters in the Slough R&D. This exciting and unique opportunity is fantastic for people looking for part time work, who have great taste buds, are open and confident in sharing their thoughts and ideas within a wider team. You will be given full training for this position and do not need similar previous experience.
Responsibilities:
- You will be assessing a wide range of confectionary and ice cream products
- Part time: Tuesday – Thursday, 9:45 - 12:45 including training (circa 6 months)
- Participate in product and sensory related training, and successfully applying this learning to the day-to-day job
- Evaluation and characterisation of existing and new products and brands
- Identify ways to improve packaging
About You:
- General good health, no food allergies; no food intolerance; good dentition
- No dietary restrictions
- Good perceptual and descriptive ability
- Passion for product evaluation and experiencing new sensations
- Prepared to sample a variety of different tastes and ingredients
- Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective team communication
- Take on board feedback on performance, training and calibration in a positive and professional manner
- Computer literate
- Excellent timekeeping
