Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Based Planner to join a high-profile construction project.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all normal planning functions primarily onsite with the Main Civils contractor, building services, and erection & commissioning packages
- Work closely with site Quantity Surveyor (QS) and Project Manager (PM)
- Conduct claims assessment relating to time delays and disruptions
- Analyse and interpret complex scheduling data using P6 planning tool
- Prepare clear and concise reports summarising findings and analyses
- Present complex information effectively to clients, legal teams, and project stakeholders
- Contribute to delay and root cause analysis, claims quantification, and scenario planning for schedule optimisation
Key Skills / Experience Required:
Essential:
- Proven experience in planning and claims management within construction environments
- Expertise in P6 planning tool
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and contract terms
- Delay analysis techniques including critical path method and time impact analysis
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Client-facing experience with ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience working in IT/data centre or technical operations environments
- Knowledge of traffic or transport infrastructure systems
- Previous work in fault-detection or real-time monitoring settings
