About the Project
Join our team working on the Telford and Wrekin council framework. This site is just being set up, and you'll be part of a team delivering a valued framework with an annual turnover of approximately £12.5 million. The site is situated amongst housing and industrial estates.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and maintenance of detailed site records, including daily diaries, labor, and plant records, and work area documentation
- Support the appointed Commercial Lead by communicating any emerging issues that may affect Balfour Beatty's commercial interests (Earthworks, Civil Engineering, quantification)
- Monitor progress against the project program
- Ensure watertight Quality Assurance (QA) processes are fully signed off and demonstrate compliance with agreed specifications, particularly compaction. This includes maintaining testing records and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Guarantee earthworks assurance and specification compliance
Day-to-Day Tasks
You will primarily be responsible for quality assurance, with a focus on civils and earthworks disciplines. You must understand quality processes and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure successful project delivery.
