Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Package Repair Coordinator to join a World leader offering Products, Solutions and Services across the entire Energy value chain on behalf of a well established manufacturing organisation to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations. You will shape a competitive, sustainable supply chain, partnering globally to drive productivity, quality, and digitalization.
As a Senior Project Manager role responsible for leading a portfolio of high-tech engineering projects valued up to €15 million. Acting as the primary customer contact, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from sales handover to final delivery—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manage and coordinate multiple high-tech project orders simultaneously, with a portfolio value reaching up to €15 million.
- Act as the primary, direct point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure exceptional service and communication.
- Lead projects seamlessly from the initial sales handover stage all the way to final customer delivery by collaborating with internal departments.
- Continuously monitor and manage the technical and commercial health of projects, keeping tight control over budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate closely with commodity suppliers to guarantee smooth contract delivery on time and within budget.
- Implement proactive strategies to identify, minimize, and resolve project risks while maximizing commercial opportunities over the contract lifecycle.
- Identify emerging project issues early and resolve them proactively, escalating them to higher management when necessary.
- Act as the officially nominated Project Manager for mid-to-high level projects, adhering up to the Category C classification.
Essential Requirements:
- A University Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or an equivalent qualification in a relevant technical or business subject.
- Proven experience working within a gas turbine or related heavy-power industry.
- A strong background in either commercial management or technical engineering, with a proven ability to successfully adapt those skills to a project management environment.
- A solid understanding of complex commercial contracts, such as Long-Term Programs (LTP) or Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA).
- Hands-on experience or training with SAP software, along with standard commercial skills and departmental process training.
Desirable Requirements:
- Holding an official Category C certification (or equivalent industry-recognized project management credential).
- Direct, specialized experience dealing with the technical and commercial nuances of gas turbine technologies.
- Practical, hands-on experience navigating and managing specific long-term maintenance contracts, such as LTPs (Long-Term Programs) or LTSAs (Long-Term Service Agreements).
- Prior completion of advanced SAP training alongside specialized commercial skills training to immediately handle project financials and data entry.
