About the Role: As the Quality Improvement Lead, you will drive a stronger quality culture in the Small Gas Turbine business by coaching departments on root-cause analysis, improving non-conformance tracking tools, and enforcing process governance to minimize error costs and meet quality KPIs. You will manage improvement Programmes end to end and help with expertise within Non Conformant processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach process owners and sub-teams to elevate problem-solving capabilities to best-in-class levels.
- Manage "Lessons Learned" programs, analyzing past mistakes and success stories to prevent future errors.
- Evaluate Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and track the maturity and value of corrective measures.
- Train teams on advanced quality methodologies (such as FMEA, 8D problem-solving, and Lean tools).
- Look for trends.
- Reviewing Non Conformant processes.
- Supporting Manufacturing Team.
Quality Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and audit Project Quality Plans to ensure alignment with customer needs and contract obligations.
- Act as an escalation point for complex quality issues and non-conformances.
- Support product safety assessments and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to embed quality goals into daily operations and project execution.
- Track, update, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to senior leadership.
- Interface directly with external parties, including customers, suppliers, and certification bodies during audits.
Skills/ Experience:
- Previous experience as a Quality Improvement Lead ideally within a Manufacturing or Engineering background.
- SAP/ QIS/ Methodology of root cause/ NCC Skills.
- Numerical Background.
- Advanced I.T and system experience.
- Tracking and reviewing time bound Goals.
- Preferable Chemist or experience with Chemicals.
