Randstad Sourceright is partnering with Siemens Energy to find a proactive and experienced Skills and Education Coordinator. This pivotal role is based in Lincolnshire and focuses on strengthening ties with the local education community to promote Siemens Energy and attract future talent for early career programmes. The Coordinator will also serve as the primary contact for specific Siemens Energy businesses, advising on and ensuring the high-quality delivery of these programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Early Career Talent & Upskilling: Act as the main contact for specified Siemens Energy businesses to foster the development of early career talent and facilitate the upskilling of current employees through Apprenticeship Standards.
- Apprenticeship Delivery Quality: Provide expert advice and guidance to Siemens Energy businesses on apprenticeship delivery to guarantee high-quality learning outcomes.
- Training Provider Management: Assist in identifying, conducting due diligence on, and continuously monitoring training providers.
- Certification: Handle all awarding body registration and certification activities for learners.
- Community & Talent Attraction: Coordinate engagement with the local Lincoln Siemens Energy community, including schools, colleges, and universities. This involves developing relationships and delivering initiatives to attract entry-level talent to the Lincoln business's early career programmes.
- Compliance & Best Practice: Promote best practice and ensure adherence to Siemens Energy's Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures.
- General Duties: Fulfill any other management requests.
Essential Criteria & Skills:
- Proven knowledge and experience in delivering apprenticeship training and providing support to employers.
- Familiarity with Government Funded training.
- Excellent IT proficiency, including experience with electronic portfolio systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Experience engaging with local schools, colleges, and universities to develop and execute initiatives/materials promoting early career opportunities.
Other Requirements: A full driving licence and the ability to work flexible hours and locations (within reason) are required.
