Randstad Sourceright are recruiting on behalf of Mars for an experienced EU Consumer Insights Manager to lead the transformation of consumer reporting and insights across Europe. This is a high-visibility role for a strategic thinker who can turn complex consumer data into actionable insights that drive confident commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve EU consumer reporting, ensuring it enables clear, actionable insights for commercial and category teams.
  • Act as regional owner of SPRINT or SPRINT-like reporting platforms, enhancing usability, visualisation, and insight relevance.
  • Lead improvements to reporting cadence, dashboards, and visual storytelling across up to 17 EU markets.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for reporting interpretation, troubleshooting, and adoption challenges.
  • Deliver training and capability-building programmes to empower teams to self-serve insights effectively.
  • Manage the EU consumer data landscape, including Nielsen/NIQ, Kantar, ePOS, digital, and panel sources.
  • Act as single point of contact for external insight suppliers, overseeing delivery, performance, and contract optimisation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, harmonisation, and cost-effectiveness across EU markets.
  • Map data coverage, identify gaps, and develop roadmaps for integrating insights into reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with Senior EU CMI Lead and Global Data & Reporting Lead to shift focus from reporting outputs to actionable insights and “so what” decision-making.

Candidate Profile

  • Senior-level experience in consumer insights, market intelligence, or analytics across multi-market or EU environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex reporting ecosystems and turn data into actionable, commercially relevant insights.
  • Strong track record in supplier management, contract oversight, and cost optimisation.
  • Highly strategic, commercially minded, and structured, with experience influencing stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels.
  • Excellent communicator, able to train, mentor, and upskill teams across markets.
  • Passionate about driving confident, insight-led decisions and enabling teams to act on “so what” insights.
