About the Role
We are looking for a Performance & Growth Marketing Manager to drive customer acquisition and engagement through data-driven marketing strategies. In this role, you’ll take ownership of paid media, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and lead generation, ensuring every marketing activity fuels sustainable business growth. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, you’ll collaborate closely with the Brand Manager to balance performance marketing with brand-building initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in optimising amicable’s marketing funnel, ensuring advertising budgets are effectively deployed, conversion rates are maximised, and customer insights shape ongoing strategy. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where experimentation, innovation, and agility are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Marketing & Lead Generation: Develop and manage high-performing digital campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and other relevant platforms to maximise ROI. Drive lead generation strategies, optimising the marketing funnel for customer acquisition. Navigate advertising restrictions in a sensitive category to maximise high-quality leads without reliance on remarketing in Google Ads. Drive user acquisition for amicable’s co-parenting app through paid app marketing across Google Play, Apple App Store, Meta, and other mobile ad platforms. Use paid strategies to grow listenership and engagement for amicable’s podcast and experiment with podcast advertising to reach new audiences. Collaborate with the Brand Manager to ensure performance marketing efforts align with amicable’s brand positioning.
- Budget Management: Manage the day-to-day performance marketing budget, ensuring activities are delivered on time and within scope. Own long-term performance marketing budget planning, ensuring efficient allocation and forecasting.
- Website Optimisation: Continuously monitor and enhance website performance, leveraging CRO tactics to optimise landing pages, CTAs, and user experience (UX). Conduct A/B testing and analyse user behaviour to improve conversion rates, sharing key insights with the wider marketing team.
- Analytics, Reporting & Insights: Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, using data to inform strategic decisions and campaign optimisations. Develop and implement lead segmentation strategies to personalise marketing efforts and improve conversion rates.
- Marketing Automation & Retention: Lead email marketing and automation campaigns, using HubSpot to nurture leads and drive engagement. Implement remarketing and retargeting strategies to improve lead conversion.
- Innovation & Experimentation: Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing trends, testing new acquisition channels and campaign formats. Work closely with the Marketing Lead and Brand Manager to explore new growth opportunities.
About You
You have the following skills and experience:
- PPC & Performance Marketing: track record of managing Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and programmatic campaigns, ideally in legal services, fintech, or a regulated industry.
- Startup Mentality: Agility, curiosity, and a test-and-learn approach to drive continuous improvement.
- Analytics & CRO: Proficient in Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Ads Manager, and A/B testing to optimise performance.
- Marketing Automation & CRM: Hands-on experience with HubSpot for lead nurturing and conversion.
- Strategic & Commercial Thinking: Ability to link marketing data to business goals and optimise budgets for efficiency.
Compensation, Perks & Benefits
Salary; £45,000 - £50,000 per year depending on skills and experience. Private Health Insurance, Group Life Assurance, Employee Assistance Programme, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays per annum, Cycle to work scheme, Company laptop, Pension scheme (after 3 months of employment).
