Job Type: 24 month fixed term
Laser Operators, are you looking to work in a fantastic, modern environment? Great rates of pay and long term stability? You can grow your skills as we place you on an assignment into Caterpillar Articulated Trucks, Peterlee in a challenging and quality driven manufacturing environment on a 12 month fixed assignment.
With plenty of overtime work available throughout the week and during the weekends, you have the opportunity to maximise your earnings on an overtime rate which is paid at time and a half Monday to Saturday and double time on a Sunday.

Starting Pay Rate and Working Hours:
- Day Shift: £17.28 per hour
- Afternoon Shift: £20.47 per hour
- Night Shift: £23.33 per hour
- Overtime 1.5 (Mon-Sat): £25.92 per hour
- Overtime 2 (Sundays): £34.56 per hour
Shifts:
- Days: Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00. Friday, 08:00 - 12:30
- Back shift: Monday - Thursday, 16:00 - 00:00. Friday, 12:30 - 17:00
- Night shift: Monday - Thursday, 00:00 - 08:00. Friday, 17:00 - 21:30
About you:
- Have the ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
- Be accustomed to modern practices e.g. following a standard work procedure
- Carry out some manual lifting
- Work with a sense and awareness of safety at all times
- Previous experience of Laser Machine Operations cutting heavy mild steel
- Relevant NVQ Level 3

This is an ongoing, long term temporary contract role. Please be aware that PPE is mandatory on the factory floor. This will include ear defenders, overalls and safety boots and will be supplied to you.
