Experienced Production Operative | West Thurrock (near Lakeside) Looking for steady, reliable work? We are hiring a Production Operative for a long-term role with a consistent Monday-to-Friday shift pattern-enjoy your weekends off! Prior manufacturing or production experience required.

£17.75 per hour inclusive of shift allowance

Monday 06:00 to 18:00, Tuesday 06:00 to 18:00, Thursday 18:00 to 06:00 and Friday 18:00 to 06:00
\n
Week 2
\n
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 06:00 to 18:00
\n
Week 3
\n
Monday Tuesday and Wednesday 18:00 to 06:00
\n
\n
Then repeat

Responsibilities:
\n
Safety
\n
- \n
- You are responsible safety at all times
- All incidents, near misses and safety related defects to be reported using the relevant systems
- All safety related training to be maintained at 100% at all times
- Carry out safety checks
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Quality
\n
- \n
- You are responsible for quality on your shift
- Training completion is 100% for your shift at all times
- All results must be recorded in a timely and precise fashion
- All quality & safety incidents must be reported and followed up with an investigation
- All other procedures must be followed

TASKS
\n

- Replenishing the line was raw materials
- Replenishing the packing line with cardboard tube formers
- Operation of hoist to move large supersacks of materials
- Operation of Powered pump truck to move pallets
- Requirements:

\n
- Willingness to learn new skills to develop own and expertise.
\n
-- Ability to work independently and to a high standard, following Safe Operating procedures and other guidelines.
\n
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders verbally and in writing.
\n
- Willingness to take ownership and see tasks through to completion and ensuring a high standard at all times in your work.
\n
- High attention to detail and experience of taking a disciplined approach to your work to ensure concentration and focus.
