Requirements:
- Counterbalance FLT Licence
- FLT experience is a must
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent level of verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, methodical, process-driven, focused and pro-active
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- A drive for continuous improvement
- Good people skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Good reliability
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate powered industrial trucks to safely load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas
- Locate and move pallets of stock and load trucks ready for client delivery
- Report on any damages to stock or the vehicle
- Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained
- Work safely and in a timely manner to achieve productivity targets
- Move finished goods around the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
- Store the pallets in the ASRS Warehouse
- Unload vehicles delivering full goods into the ASRS warehouse
- Some manual handling may be required to rebuild damaged pallets
