Requirements:

  • Counterbalance FLT Licence
  • FLT experience is a must
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent level of verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, methodical, process-driven, focused and pro-active
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • A drive for continuous improvement
  • Good people skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Good reliability
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate powered industrial trucks to safely load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas
  • Locate and move pallets of stock and load trucks ready for client delivery
  • Report on any damages to stock or the vehicle
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained
  • Work safely and in a timely manner to achieve productivity targets
  • Move finished goods around the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
  • Store the pallets in the ASRS Warehouse
  • Unload vehicles delivering full goods into the ASRS warehouse
  • Some manual handling may be required to rebuild damaged pallets
