Pay rate and working hours
Three shift pattern, shifts do not rotate but you must be flexible to work any shift.
- 06:45AM - 15:00PM (Mon - Thur) 6.45AM - 12.45PM (Fri)
- 14:45PM - 23:00PM (Mon - Thur) 10.45AM - 16.45PM (Fri)
- 22:45PM - 07:00AM (Mon - Thur) 16.30PM - 22.30PM (Fri)
Responsibilities
- Linishing/grinding of components to a high Quality standard.
- Use an etching machine to stamp the serial number and identification tag.
- Self inspect the product to ensure a quality output.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Measure and inspect components prior to delivery.
- Adhere to the Company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.
- Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, and Teamwork.
- Work with the quality department and implement the customer needs.
Requirements
- Have previous experience as a metal linisher within a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures.
- Teamwork and a flexible attitude are essential pre-requisites.
- The ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organisation.
