About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Systems Engineer on behalf of our client STL, a reputable and growing business based in Arthur Street Central, Lakeside, Redditch. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving the company’s quality systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Engineer to maintain the Quality Management System in line with BS EN ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Undertake internal audits, analyse data trends, and drive corrective and preventative actions.
- Deliver auditor training to junior staff and support development.
- Prepare and report on internal KPIs, such as scrap percentages and on-time delivery, for production meetings.
- Record and manage customer Concerns and Responses, ensuring clear communication.
- Lead and maintain quality processes, adapting to customer-specific requirements as necessary.
- Assist with 8D and Root Cause Analysis reporting.
- Maintain and update Control Plans.
