Financial Reporting Senior Manager (sheffield)

The role is based in Sheffield and would require 2 days in the office. Main responsibilities of the job will include: Production of statutory accounts and interim accounts for the Group and all subsidiary companies as required. Ensuring that investment loan records are properly maintained, up to date and regularly reconciled to the financial ledgers. Ensuring the correct IFRS 9 classification of all financial assets and liabilities for reporting and disclosure purposes, supported by documented evidence. Implementation of new IFRS requirements including an understanding of any changes to those requirements. Ensuring that the Group's accounting policies are fully documented and updated for any new policies or changes to existing policies. Providing BIST with accounting journals and supporting evidence in relation to the financial assets and liabilities managed by the Bank on its behalf. Managing the process for uploading statutory financial reporting data into the BIST EPM system. Liaison and interaction with the Group' tax advisors for the preparation of annual accounts estimates and corporation tax computations for submission to HMRC.
