Do you have production line experience? Are you looking for a long term temporary position? We are currently looking for high speed packing line operatives to work for our client based in West Thurrock, Grays, Essex.

Hours of Work and Pay Rate:
All 12.25 hour shifts with 05:45 to 18:00 or 17:45 to 06:00
Week 1: Monday Day, Tuesday Day, Friday Night, Saturday Night & Sunday Night
Week 2: Wednesday Day & Thursday Day
Week 3: Monday Night, Tuesday Night, Friday Day, Saturday Day & Sunday Day
Week 4: Wednesday & Thursday Night
Pay Rate: Β£18.02 per hour - inclusive of shift allowance
Purpose of job:
To own a piece of equipment, own one or more RTT systems and to autonomously operate the line of posting, delivering the contribution of the individual results to the line, department and business unit results.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the correct placement of empty cases onto the high speed packing line, lifting bundles up to 25kg.
- Working in a team of 3, responsible for 6 packing lines.
- Replenishing cap and glue products to the line.
- You will be trained to operate a case erecting machine.
- You will adhere to lock out tag out process (isolating from hazardous energy).
- Adhering to quality procedures.
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised.
Requirements:
- A team player, able to work with others.
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Willingness to take ownership and see tasks through to completion, ensuring a high standard at all times in your work.
- High attention to detail and experience of taking a disciplined approach to your work to ensure concentration and focus for long periods of time.
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
