Do you have experience in a production and manufacturing environment?

We are currently looking for Production Operatives work in West Thurrock (near Lakeside) in a long term regular shift pattern assignment.

All hours completed between Monday & Friday

Monday 06:00 to 18:00, Tuesday 06:00 to 18:00, Thursday 18:00 to 06:00 and Friday 18:00 to 06:00

  • Week 2
  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 06:00 to 18:00
  • Week 3
  • Monday Tuesday and Wednesday 18:00 to 06:00
  • Then repeat

Responsibilities

  • Safety
  • You are responsible safety at all times
  • All incidents, near misses and safety related defects to be reported using the relevant systems
  • All safety related training to be maintained at 100% at all times
  • Carry out safety checks Quality
  • Quality
  • You are responsible for quality on your shift
  • Training completion is 100% for your shift at all times
  • All results must be recorded in a timely and precise fashion
  • All quality & safety incidents must be reported and followed up with an investigation
  • All other procedures must be followed
  • TASKS
  • Replenishing the line was raw materials
  • Replenishing the packing line with cardboard tube formers
  • Operation of hoist to move large supersacks of materials
  • Operation of Powered pump truck to move pallets

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn new skills to develop own and expertise.

-- Ability to work independently and to a high standard, following Safe Operating procedures and other guidelines.

  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to take ownership and see tasks through to completion and ensuring a high standard at all times in your work.
  • High attention to detail and experience of taking a disciplined approach to your work to ensure concentration and focus.
