Our client, based in East Kilbride, makes, sells and distributes some of the world's best-loved non-alcoholic, ready-made beverages to over 300 million customers across 13 countries; the site in East Kilbride produces 18 million cases of drinks per year!
Our client is looking for an experienced forklift driver to start as soon as possible.
Excellent Pay rate: pre-parity £14.91, parity: £16.57
Job type: Temporary - ongoing
Location: East Kilbride (G74 5DJ)
Shift Patterns:
- Continentals - 3 days (06:00-18:00) 3 nights (18:00-06:00) 3 off
- 4 days (06:00-18:00) 4 nights (18:00-06:00) 4 off
- Monday to Friday shifts
- Earlies: 06:00 - 14:00 (Friday 06:00 - 13:00)
- Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 (Friday 13:00 - 20:00)
- Nights: 22:00 - 06:00 (Friday 20:00 - 03:00)
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards at all times
- Moving finished goods around the warehouse using SAP (via the vehicle mount unit)
- Remove new production stock from production conveyors within the ASRS (automated storage and retrieval system)
- Store the pallets in the Warehouse
- Unload vehicles delivering full goods into the warehouse
- Load outbound vehicles to dispatch to customers and other company sites
- Some manual handling may be required to rebuild damaged pallets
Requirements:
- Flexibility for all shifts, 24/7 including weekends
- Valid FLT license
- Must have at least 1 year experience in driving a counterbalance truck
- Double handler experience is desirable
