Providing Expert Advice and Financial Control:

  • Technical Accounting Expertise: You'll offer in-depth knowledge of IFRS, AASB, or FRS to guide decision-making on new products and transactions, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential risks.
  • Financial Controllership Skills: You'll use your understanding of financial controls to assess the financial impact of new transactions and provide insights for approval processes.
  • Business Partnering: You'll act as a key Finance contact for your business line, collaborating with other parts of the Financial Management Group to deliver excellent financial services.
  • Managing Financial Responsibilities:
  • Balance Sheet and P&L Management: You'll be responsible for the financial controllership of the balance sheet and P&L, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Supporting Offshore Teams: You'll assist offshore finance teams with core accounting processes like month-end close and audits, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Communication & Translation: You'll effectively translate complex accounting concepts into understandable terms for non-accountant stakeholders, promoting clarity and understanding.
  • Demonstrating Key Skills:
    • Problem-Solving: You'll proactively identify and address issues, manage timelines, and achieve efficient outcomes.
    • Communication and Collaboration: You'll build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating with senior leadership and global finance teams.
