We are partnering with a Children's Trust in their search for a Finance Business Partner. This is a temp to perm or straight permanent position based in Oldbury offering hybrid working, and a permanent salary of up to £59,000 or temp hourly rate of up to £41.42 per hour. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Payments Team and the production of vital budget monitoring information. You will ensure that all budget holders are fully briefed on their financial performance and that all funding streams are maximised for the Trust.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Provide monthly management accounts, forecasts, expert advice, and guidance.
- Planning: Lead the annual budget setting and business planning processes.
- Systems Management: Review, develop, and maintain business processes and system control functions within Oracle Financial.
- Income Maximisation: Proactively work to maximise the income generation of the Trust.
- Leadership: Manage the Payments Team and lead the development and application of Financial Regulations and Procedures.
About You
We are seeking a candidate who is both technically proficient and mission-driven. You should possess:
- Professional Qualification: Fully qualified to CIMA, ACCA, or CIPFA level.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience with large-scale financial systems (Oracle preferred).
- Leadership: Prior experience in staff management is highly beneficial.
- Passion: A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.

Working Patterns
- Hours: 37 hours per week.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday (09:00 - 17:30); Friday (09:00 - 17:00).
