Randstad are currently working in partnership with a market leading consulting business based in Central London working within a trade and investment setting.
They are seeking an experienced, driven and motivated operations professional to join their already well established team within their office. This dynamic individual will have a strong background in international trade operations, investment management, and strategic execution. This role would suit a candidate with 5 years+ years compliance experience working in a corporate environment in a private equity backed business.
Key responsibilities of the Operations Lead will include:
- Lead daily operations for trade and investment projects.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand business opportunities.
- Oversee contract negotiations, compliance, and documentation.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, clients, and investment partners.
- Coordinate cross-border logistics, finance, and reporting activities.
- Ensure regulatory and risk compliance across jurisdictions.
- Monitor market trends and recommend growth initiatives.
The ideal Operations Lead will possess the following attributes/skills:
- Proven experience in international trade, investment, or business operations.
- Strong knowledge of global markets, import/export procedures, and investment processes.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
- Ability to develop strategic plans and meet KPIs.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
