We are proud to partner exclusively with a non-profit organisation in their search for a French speaking Reporting Accountant. This is a 4 month temporary role with a view to go permanent (not essential) offering fully remote work looking to pay up to 38 per hour for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team and add value to an organisation carrying out impactful work.
As the Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Fiscal closing
- Managing local annual fiscal audits
- Reviewing and preparing recorded/posted transactions for European entities
- Producing reports and recommendations following audits
The successful candidate will have:
- Full fluency in French (this is essential and unfortunately non-French speaking candidates will not be considered)
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is desirable (Part qualified or QBE candidates are welcome to apply and will be considered)
- Proven track record of all aspects of accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, budgets and financial statements
- Solid understanding of statutory requirements, legal procedures (audits, taxes, etc.) and government regulations in Europe
- Prior experience working in nonprofit/NGO financial operations is desirable
