Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Shipping & Warehouse Coordinator on behalf of a well-known Energy provider.
Job Role:
This is a hands-on role. The Shipping and Warehouse Projects Coordinator will form part of and support a global logistics physical shipping operations team by managing outbound shipments, assisting with importation authorizations, updating export and import registers, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
The role is responsible for:
- Lead the Order-to-Ship Process: Efficiently manage and process a high-volume pipeline of shipments from the SAP work queue, ensuring prompt and accurate fulfillment.
- SAP System Mastery & Optimization: Act as a critical problem-solver for complex SAP errors within the outbound shipping and warehousing processes, specifically focusing on achieving perfect Post Goods Issue (PGI) execution.
- Global Trade Compliance and Oversight: Serve as a key steward of international trade, meticulously overseeing all import and export formalities to guarantee 100% compliance with complex global customs regulations.
- Regulatory Documentation and Audits: Diligently maintain and update essential regulatory logs, including the Export and Import registers, ensuring all documentation is audit-ready and reflects current trade standards.
- Support High-Value Logistics: Provide specialized support to the Project Shipping Coordinator in managing complex, often manual, international shipments of critical, large-scale assets (e.g., Gas Turbines, tooling, and specialized parts).
- Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure the continuous accuracy and timely maintenance of shipping and warehouse documentation within SAP, working directly with the team to enforce best practices.
- Operational Improvement & Strategy: Proactively identify, propose, and implement strategic opportunities to enhance and streamline delivery, shipping, and overall warehouse operational processes.
Requirements for the role:
- Extensive experience in a Global export and import environment in customs operations, import/export formalities, and global trade compliance.
- Deep knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong SAP expertise across delivery, shipping, and warehouse modules.
- Proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic supply chain environment with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
