We are looking for a Talent Technical Adviser to join our team and serve as a strategic partner between Talent Acquisition and hiring teams. In this role, you’ll be the technical expert supporting recruitment efforts—bridging the gap between HR and technical hiring managers by ensuring alignment in role requirements, candidate evaluations, and hiring strategies. This is a remote position that offers flexibility, collaboration, and a chance to directly influence the success of technical hiring processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical role requirements and translate them into effective sourcing and evaluation strategies.
- Advise on job descriptions, technical assessments, and interview best practices for technical roles (e.g., engineering, IT, data).
- Screen and evaluate candidates for technical skills and cultural fit.
- Support interview panels by creating technical questions or take-home assessments when needed.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in candidate evaluations.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement in technical hiring.
- Act as a thought partner to continuously refine hiring processes, tools, and strategies.
- Collaborate across functions (HR, Engineering, Operations) to align hiring goals with organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a technical recruitment, HRBP, or technical advising capacity (e.g., tech recruiter, hiring manager, or technical consultant).
- Solid understanding of technical roles and concepts (e.g., software development, cloud, DevOps, data).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Experience using ATS, HRIS, and collaboration tools (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Jira, Slack).
