Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to join a well-established manufacturing organisation to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations. You will shape a competitive, sustainable supply chain, partnering globally to drive productivity, quality, and digitalization.

An opportunity has opened up for a Quality Technician to join the team and take ownership of the administrative tasks required to release products prior to dispatch. Working closely with the Operations department to support key business deliverables, the ideal candidate will bring a background in inspecting or releasing products within a manufacturing or technical environment. Because this role heavily relies on navigating company-specific software, including SAP and various customer portals, being comfortable with IT and adapting quickly to new systems is essential for success.

Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Complete the necessary administrative paperwork and compliance tasks required to officially give the "green light" to products before they are dispatched to customers.
  • Navigate and update several company database systems, including SAP and various customer portals, to log product release activities.
  • Review and inspect products to ensure they meet quality guidelines prior to shipment, leveraging any prior inspection experience.
  • Partner closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless communication between manufacturing, quality checking, and final shipping.
  • Assist the wider team with day-to-day administrative bottlenecks to help the business hit its high-volume delivery targets.

Essential Requirements:

  • You must be comfortable with IT and capable of working with new digital systems.
  • You are required to use several of the company's internal software systems, including SAP and various customer portals, to complete product release activities.
  • You must be able to handle the administrative tasks necessary to release products prior to dispatch.
  • You need a collaborative mindset to work closely with the Operations team and assist wherever possible to support business deliverables.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Having prior experience inspecting or releasing products in a previous role.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or technical environment.
