Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Quality Control (QC) Lead on behalf of a global CDMO organization.
Role purpose: Lead the QC team, overseeing the setup, compliance (EHS and Quality), and ongoing operation of the QC laboratory, including:
- QC Lab suitability
- QC Organization
- QC Equipment/Systems
- Analytical Method Transfer and Validation
- QC Quality System
Key accountabilities:
- Set up and maintain the QC lab for Raw Material, IPC, Product testing, sample and retain management
- Support qualification of the QC Equipment/Systems and transfer/validation of test methods
- Implement safe systems of working within the laboratories
- Implement robust business processes and procedures
- Set up short and long-term goals, including activity plans for the QC lab and teams
- Active on laboratory workflow optimization/LBMS (Lean)
- Provision of a safe working environment through risk management principles
- Maintain laboratory hygiene and housekeeping
- Oversee QC Testing and release
- Oversee applicable sampling and third-party laboratory activities
- Responsible for QC internal and external communications
Key requirements:
- Technical experience within GMP QC laboratory environment, including project management, equipment/system/method qualification/validation, and tech transfer
- Focus on high quality; good at planning, organizing, and communication
- Empowerment, motivating others, and development direction
- Use knowledge of their business area and related areas to make correct and timely decisions
- Understand how to effectively engage others within project/change processes
- Champions and role models the values of diversity and inclusion through everyday interactions in groups or 1:1s
