Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Package Repair Coordinator to join a world leader offering products, solutions and services across the entire energy value chain on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organisation to play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations.
You will shape a competitive, sustainable supply chain, partnering globally to drive productivity, quality, and digitalisation. As a successful Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller, you will create, maintain and communicate detailed delivery plans for specific part orders within our supply chain that are commitment accepted to enable the master production plan to be achieved. You will also provide the Supply Chain Management Team (SCMT) with the implications of the delivery schedules ability to meet customer and business requirements.
Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed delivery plans for specific part orders within the supply chain.
- Secure commitment acceptance on part orders to ensure the master production plan can be achieved.
- Review and respond to supplier inquiries and manage exception messages to ensure strict adherence to delivery schedules.
- Coordinate the introduction of new parts in compliance with relevant processes, including utilising the Supply Chain pro-forma.
- Act as the primary interface with suppliers to coordinate all improvement activities related to planning, control, inventory, subcontract services, delivery, and lead times.
- Lead regular business reviews with suppliers to ensure both supplier capabilities and company requirements are met across Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
- Use standard company systems, processes, and reports (such as SAP) to remain process-compliant and resolve potential delivery hazards.
- Develop and execute recovery programs to bring delayed parts back in line with the master plan.
- Provide the Supply Chain Management Team (SCMT) with clear visibility on the implications of delivery schedules and escalate critical issues when necessary.
Essential Requirements:
- Working experience in an Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics discipline.
- A clear understanding of the requirements of inventory control, quality systems, and IT systems.
- A good working knowledge of SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Must be an excellent communicator who is robust in their approach when dealing with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Capability to lead operational relationships, coordinate business reviews, and assess supplier load and capacity.
- Strong proactive skills combined with a robust ability to solve delivery and shortage problems.
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of ERP systems is acceptable, having a strong, direct working knowledge of SAP is highly beneficial.
- Possessing specific, high-level capabilities in Load & Capacity Planning and Capability & Capacity Assessment.
- Direct experience working within an industrial turbomachinery, energy, or complex engineering manufacturing environment.
- A proven track record of demonstrating behaviours geared toward continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
