Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Data Warehouse Quality Assurance Engineer on behalf of a well-known company in the insurance industry.

Job Role

The Data Warehouse Quality Assurance Engineer (QE) ensures that all data-related solutions meet quality standards before deployment. This role focuses on validating data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within the data warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis: Understand business and technical requirements to design effective test strategies.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Create detailed test scenarios and scripts for ETL processes, data transformations, and reporting layers. Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.
  • Automation & Regression: Build automated test packs for regression testing of data pipelines. Implement tools for continuous testing in CI/CD workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure proper coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Support Business UAT and liaise with stakeholders for sign-off.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

Requirements for this position:

  • Previous experience in data-focused QA engineer roles within London Market insurance (including Lloyds of London).
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data pipelines.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
