Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Operational Buyer. You will be involved in all aspects of Direct Procurement activity, ensuring the efficient management of procurement processes and alignment with business targets. This is a role for a proactive, solution-seeking 'fixer' who thrives in a complex, fast-changing environment and can operate with minimal supervision.
- Oversee a diverse supplier portfolio, driving initial part sourcing activities and managing commercial negotiations, including price adjustment requests.
- Contribute to the implementation and ensure the compliant usage of globally defined procurement methods, processes, and systems (e.g., compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems).
- Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities.
- Maintain and update supplier evaluation systems to identify and develop the best suppliers, ensuring transparency and high procurement quality.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all documentation and adherence to online purchasing and contract management systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Direct Procurement in a large-scale industrial or complex product manufacturing environment.
- Strong SAP transactional experience (PS1 ATLAS module, production environment is highly preferred).
- Exceptional proficiency in Excel and PowerBI for analysis and reporting.
- A strong understanding of a lean approach to procurement and operations.
- Preference for candidates with experience in aerospace/industrial or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
