Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is seeking candidates for the Buyer position on behalf of Siemens Energy. This role involves working Monday to Friday, supporting Siemens Energy's innovative power technologies, including Steam Turbines, Generators, Balance of Plant Equipment, and Hydrogen Power Units.
As a key member of our Direct Procurement team, you will manage a diverse supplier portfolio across critical equipment categories, from initial selection to on-time delivery of hardware, with full ownership of the purchase order lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure hardware & services are delivered on time, with quality, and within budget.
- Manage supply chain issues proactively.
- Drive performance improvements across the supply base.
- Leverage input from global commodity managers for local requirements.
- Support the implementation of Siemens Energy procurement tools & processes.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree qualification in a relevant technical or commercial subject or MCIPS studying.
- At least 5 years of experience in project or engineering procurement.
- Persistence, ownership, problem-solving skills.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
