- Contract: 12-Month
- Hours: Mon-Thu 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Pay Rate: £14.32 – £19.42 per hour (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
- Assemble & Upgrade: build and upgrade high-standard instrumentation panels.
- Diagnose & Repair: perform comprehensive electronic diagnostics using advanced equipment and provide rapid first-line breakdown support.
- Maintain & Calibrate: execute Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) and calibration routines for test cells and interface harnesses.
- Collaborate: read and interpret technical drawings to work seamlessly alongside engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- A Level 3 technical apprenticeship (electrical/electronic bias) OR strong, hands-on industry experience without a formal apprenticeship.
- Proven experience in building/wiring electrical and instrumentation panels.
- Hands-on experience with the calibration and fault-finding of precision instrumentation.
- The ability to easily read and interpret electronic design schematics and electrical drawings.
- A proactive attitude with a strict commitment to health and safety standards.
- An understanding of engine test cell environments.
- Multi-skilled in both electrical and electronics disciplines.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis techniques.
- ISO7671 IEE 18th Edition Electrical Regulations or an HNC in a relevant discipline.
