Position Summary
The primary function of the Manufacturing Operator I is to execute the day-to-day production process in a highly controlled, fast-paced cleanroom environment. You will closely follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instruction Documents, and technical drawings to manage medical device assembly, materials handling, and packaging of finished goods. All duties are performed in strict accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual Assembly: Manually assemble specialized medical-grade tubing, connectors, and fluid bags according to precise customer requirements and blueprints.
- Technical Compliance: Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, using tools like tape measures to ensure product accuracy.
- Quality & Inspection: Perform rigorous visual checks on both in-process and completed products; escalate defects immediately to maintain a high-quality output.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and record operational paperwork in absolute compliance with strict GMP standards.
- Process Improvement: Actively participate in team-based Lean Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives to drive safety, efficiency, and quality.
