Duration: 12-month initial contract

Pay Rate: £33.80 - £35.80 per hour (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of both high‑pressure and low‑pressure fuel systems.
  • Manage component development projects from concept to production, ensuring they meet strict time, cost, and quality milestones.
  • Partner with global engineering teams, suppliers, and production facilities to implement robust engineering solutions.
  • Lead design reviews, assess technical risks through FMEA, and coordinate simulation and validation activities via DVP&R.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues using 8D methodology and Lean principles.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) with at least 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • High proficiency in Creo for powertrain component design.
  • A background in engine experience and a solid grasp of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficiency using Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
  • Specific expertise in low‑pressure fuel systems.
