As a Life Cycle Consultant, you will be the bridge between cutting-edge New Product Introduction (NPI) and long-term aftermarket profitability. You'll join a specialised team within the Industrial Power Systems Division, ensuring that every engine built today is primed for a lifetime of service, repair, and parts growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead aftermarket deliverables within large-scale product launches or deletions, ensuring tasks stay on time and aligned with global strategy.
- Develop innovative repair options and service solutions that directly impact parts revenue and Percentage of Parts Sales (POPS).
- Optimise intellectual property, branding, and supplier agreements while influencing engine design to reflect aftermarket needs.
- Use complex data sets to set service levels and identify continuous improvement opportunities across the business.
The ideal candidate:
- You are a self-starter who can navigate a matrix organisation and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- You don't just see a drawing; you see the life cycle of a machine.
- A college/university degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and utilise systems like Teamcenter.
- Extensive knowledge of NPI, product deletion, brand management, and overhaul solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Comfortable interpreting complex data to provide clear strategic direction.
