The Role
Are you looking to kickstart or further your career in science and manufacturing? We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II to join a dedicated team within a global Microbiology Division. You will play an active role in discovering solutions for infectious disease diagnosis and bacterial detection, serving public health and clinical laboratories worldwide.
Working within a manufacturing lab, you will prepare reagents, handle intermediates, and carry out vital testing to ensure products meet performance specifications and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Production & Testing: Manufacture and test intermediates and final reagents while handling microorganisms for testing purposes.
- Equipment Operation: Operate semi-automated equipment and assist in the packing of intermediates.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels for your product ranges and maintain accuracy with all SAP transactions.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure the quality of all manufactured reagents and completed documentation, raising any health, safety, or quality concerns to Senior Technicians.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in PPI (continuous improvement) programs to optimize lab processes.
