The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a competent Mechanical biased Maintenance Engineer comfortable working in a heavy-duty industrial environment. You must be willing to work overtime and cover weekend shifts, for which you will be generously compensated.
Working as part of the maintenance team, you will prioritise planned and reactive work while taking responsibility for on-site projects. Duties include attending breakdowns, fault finding, and assisting with planned maintenance on equipment such as heavy conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumping systems, and high-speed rotating machinery.

- Work as part of the maintenance team to prioritise planned and reactive work and manage on-site projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within a maintenance team on a heavy industrial site.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (NVQ, HNC, HND, City & Guilds, or Indentured Apprenticeship).
- Strong proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and drive systems.
- Competence in welding and basic fabrication (highly desired).
- Experience using CMMS for logging and tracking maintenance tasks.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- An enthusiastic, approachable, and "can-do" attitude toward problem-solving.
