Are you ready to bring next-generation technologies to life? We are a global leader in high-tech engineering and manufacturing solutions, and we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (NPI) to join our multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you won't just be maintaining existing systems-you will be the driving force behind the design, development, and commercialization of brand-new, complex engineering modules.

Reporting directly to the Lead Engineer, you will have the autonomy to take ownership of sub-assemblies from initial concept all the way to production, ensuring world-class quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance.

What You Will Do

  • Innovate & Design: Develop and design cutting-edge modules and sub-assemblies for new products, following a structured product commercialization process.
  • Validate & Test: Ensure all designs are robust and compliant with international standards through rigorous calculations, prototyping, and testing.
  • Document Excellence: Own the Technical Construction File (TCF) process by creating and maintaining precise 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and test data.
  • Collaborate: Work seamlessly within a multi-disciplined team to hit critical project milestones and deliver top-tier engineering solutions on time.

What You Bring to the Team

  • We value diverse perspectives and encourage you to apply even if you don't tick every single box below!
  • Educational Background: An electrically biased engineering degree (or an equivalent qualification paired with 2+ years of solid industry experience).
  • NPI Exposure: Experience in product development and introduction cycles is a major plus.
  • Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools (such as CATIA, Visio, AutoCAD, or similar drafting software) and the ability to interpret P&IDs and system schematics.
  • Manufacturing Savvy: A strong grasp of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA), alongside knowledge of diverse engineering materials and fabrication techniques.
  • Mindset: A positive, results-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines and communicate technical data concisely to project stakeholders.

What We Offer in Return

  • Growth: Access to lifelong learning, continuous professional development, and clear career progression pathways.
  • Flexibility: A genuine hybrid working model that respects your work-life balance.
  • Well-being: A comprehensive health and well-being benefits package designed to support you and your family.
  • Reward: A competitive salary of £53,000 alongside an excellent company benefits scheme.
